Chain Rovers continue in Division 1 for Season 11 of Lazy Football. This season we are in Northern Windsland — a 16-team division with some genuinely strong clubs. We also qualified for the Champions League again, so it is going to be a busy season.
This article is about the division — who we are up against, how the teams compare, and what we are aiming for.
Northern Windsland Overview
Sixteen teams, thirty game days, home and away against everyone. The spread of power in this division is huge — from around 4,300 P11 at the bottom to over 14,000 at the top. That gap means the division will likely split into clear tiers very quickly.
Here is the full table by P11 at the start of the season:
The Top Four
The division has a clear top group of four, separated from the rest by a massive gap.
chibas (P11: 14,412) is the strongest team by a wide margin — over 2,000 points ahead of the next competitor. Their top player, midfielder Joel Aguiniga, sits at 1,589 power at age 30. They have five players above 1,285. Beating them will be the biggest challenge of the season.
MAIN OFFICE (P11: 12,127) is third by P11 with a large 56-player squad. Their best player, Merle Liechty (midfielder, 25, 1,393), still has room to grow. A big roster gives them depth for rotation and training, which matters over a 30-game-day season.
Chain Rovers (P11: 12,381) — that is us. We just crafted two new players: CF Cedrick Roperto (23, 1,119) and AM Max Caddick (24, 1,294). Roperto is decent for his age but came in near the bottom of the power range. Caddick was a great pull — near the top for a 24-year-old. These signings pushed us from third to second in the division. Frank Zickuhr remains our standout at 1,303 power, and Champions League adds extra matches and pressure on squad depth.
Arbitrageus (P11: 11,846) is practically our twin — about 535 points behind us. Their top player Nicky Rhoney (midfielder, 24, 1,303) matches Zickuhr's power exactly. Matches against Arbitrageus could go either way and might decide who finishes third or fourth.
The Middle and Bottom
Below the top four, there is a noticeable drop. Pinkman (7,258) and StrangeR (7,063) form a second tier — competitive but significantly weaker than the top group. The remaining ten teams have P11 ranging from about 4,300 to 6,000.
Against these lower-ranked teams, the priority shifts from winning to winning efficiently. In this online football manager, energy management across the season matters as much as raw power. Every match costs energy, and with Champions League on top of 30 championship game days, rotation and careful planning become essential. The building upgrade guide covers how infrastructure supports that kind of long-term management.
Champions League Qualifier
Before the league phase even begins, we have to get through qualification. Our first-round opponent is Jet634 — a team with P11 of 12,693 against our 12,381. That is a significant gap. The two legs are scheduled for April 2 and April 4.
Losing this qualifier would drop us into the Contenders League qualification, which is not the end of the world — but making the Champions League league phase is the primary goal this season. It will take strong lineups and some smart energy management heading into those two matches.
Season Goals
Two main targets for Season 11, and both are going to be tough:
- Champions League league phase — get past the qualifier against Jet634 and secure a spot among the 36 teams in the league phase. This is goal number one.
- Top 2 in the championship — the top 2 in each division qualify directly for the Champions League next season. Third and fourth only get into the Contenders League. The fight for second is between us, MAIN OFFICE (12,127) and Arbitrageus (11,846). We have a slight edge now after the crafting spree, but both are close enough to keep it competitive all season.
If you are starting out in this free football manager game online, getting to D1 takes several seasons of steady building. The beginner guide is a good place to start.
